Emily Dailey is the Founder & CEO of PenDailey Consulting, a boutique firm specializing in branding, marketing, and sustainability strategy for hospitality, tourism, and wellness businesses. With a background rooted in hotel operations and commercial strategy, Emily brings a pragmatic, collaborative approach to helping clients grow with purpose. She is especially committed to supporting independent hotels, woman-led ventures, and values-driven businesses. Emily’s leadership is grounded in both vision and execution, shaped by her commitment to creativity, stewardship, and the long-term success of her clients and community.
Emily is an enthusiastic and engaging educator, public speaker, and podcast guest, offering content and actionable takeaways curated for each audience. She is a frequent speaker on topics such as hospitality branding, sustainable tourism, leadership, and professional development with an emphasis on balance and purpose.
Coming from a theatre background, she spent years designing sets and telling rich stories before stepping into a hotel in 2007. She spent the beginning of her career in operations before utilizing her creativity to transition into marketing and branding. She has helped dozens of hotels, restaurants, and other tourism businesses across the country discover and share their unique stories.
She is actively involved in building the inclusive & sustainable future she hopes to see. Emily serves on the board of Accelerate Women Leaders in Travel and is a member of Female Founders in Hospitality and Freelance Women in Travel & Hospitality. In addition to her consulting work, Emily owns Green Thread Circle, a wellness practice focused on education, ceremony, and connection to the wider world. Her certifications include Sustainable Tourism (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) and Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International). She also holds a B.S. in Business Administration and is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500).
