Cedar Grove Sales and Marketing Manager Summary: Cedar Grove is made up of Lodging and Events divisions, creating a unique environment that blends the beauty of the Hocking Hills with exceptional guest experiences. The newly created Sales and Marketing Manager role is a result of our continued growth and will lead the company’s overall sales and support a variety of marketing functions. This role will be responsible for maintaining a unique and creative brand presence that aligns with Cedar Grove’s values and mission. Responsibilities: Lead company’s overall sales efforts for both lodging and events including lead generation, trade shows, event tours, open houses, front desk operations, quote/proposal creation, and contract negotiations Maintain accurate and up to date sales and customer information Network with others in the hospitality industry representing our brand and to build referrals Identify new growth opportunities, emerging sites, and marketing initiatives to drive innovation Assist in product and package development Design and manage the company's websites, social media, marketing materials, listing and review sites Responsible for developing, implementing and tracking digital marketing campaigns Monitor and engage in relevant social media discussions about our company, partners, industry and competition Run regular promotions and campaigns (Facebook/Google ads, email, posts, etc.) Continue to grow and leverage the company’s online followers and previous customers Skills and Abilities: Proven written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and superb organizational and analytical skills Guest-centric, team-focused mentality, takes initiative and can work independently Strong negotiation skills with a focus on value vs. price Proficiency in web analytics and SEO tools Ability to multi-task and change focus quickly Strong photography and creative capabilities are highly desired Experience & Education: 3+ years of sales, marketing and graphic design preferred Prefer experience in the Hospitality or Special Events industry Experience in WordPress, Dubsado, MailChimp and other various software applications preferred This is a Full-Time salary plus performance bonus position. Flexible and guest-driven work hours. Work locations vary between home and company’s Hocking Hills location with some travel within the region. Prefer candidates that live within 1 hour of Logan, OH and have a love for the Hocking Hills region!
